THE KAPA‘A HIGH SCHOOL VOCAL PROGRAM

The Kapa‘a High School Vocal Music Program provides students with the opportunity to develop musical skills, a lifelong appreciation for music, and the necessary discipline to achieve musical and non-musical successes. They have fun meeting and making new friends, traveling to performances on- and off-island, and learning to promote tolerance and personal growth. Students also learn the importance of individual responsibility and cooperative learning and participation within several performance ensembles.

Concert Choir

The Kapa‘a HS Concert Choir is a non-audition ensemble and is open to all who wish to develop vocal technique, musicianship, and showmanship. The Concert Choir performs in concerts, assemblies, and at various community events on the island.

The Kapa‘a HS Choral program serves as the Color Guard with the Marching Band. Throughout the year, they perform at home football games, community parades, concerts, and at competitive events on Oahu.
